He didn’t feel like a character made of clay for us to mould as we saw fit, and so some of the choices just felt out of character. We can’t quite divorce him from Chris Pratt’s likeable rendition and so we tended to always pick the cheesiest lines. Guardians of the Galaxy felt like a great fit for Telltale Games, but we found one issue with it and that was how hard it was to “role-play” Star-Lord (Peter Quill). Without spoiling too much there can be an option to bring someone back from dead towards the end and that choice is a hard one, given all you’ve come to know during the season. The main story arc about the Eternity Forge and the Kree works really well overall as it allows for some natural flashbacks and some focus on the relations between the Guardians and their past. I'm really glad I accepted her offer though so she could see what he had become and how well he was coping despite losing her and he could see her again finally especially as a grown man.ĭamn though, I feel sorry for the others though, you can only pick 1 and I knew Telltale would make us do this sadistic choice of who to "resurrect", I wanted to bring back Lylla especially as I went so against Rocket and he was the only one who stood by me in the end, plus I really felt sorry for him especially when he broke down over her. Damnit, I thought refusing Mantis' offer would mean Peter would just "soldier on" and he wouldn't get to see Meredith again? I accepted her offer and I got just a few minutes with Meredith instead, but my god was quite the scene.
